I’ve started a great friendship through this promotion that I received about two months ago. She doesn’t work in my office every day, but no matter where she is we always talk. Out of nowhere today she said “What were you born to do?” I sat there for a second..a minute actually..and I couldn’t think of anything. I told her I wasn’t sure, I had no idea. “You were born 22 years ago. That’s when the question first sprouted. You already know what you were born to do with your life, you just don’t recognize it yet. It’s not about what job you have or what money you make, it’s about who you affect and how you affect them.” I was gonna go somewhere really deep with this..but it’s crazy how one simple question can make you think so much. Maybe I really am already doing what I was born to do..when will we ever know?
